Training

Protechnis offer conventional ‘Face to Face’ courses and an ‘e-Learning’ system within the website, in the fields of Process and Functional Safety.

The conventional courses can be held at the Protechnis offices in Stokesley or remotely at client premises in the UK or overseas. The conventional courses are given by one of the Principal Consultants, who are professionally qualified practicing engineers. Protechnis also hold open conventional courses and details of dates and cost can be found on this website. The in‐house courses can be tailored to specific client needs and requirements at the time. All courses come with a bound hard copy of the course material to be taken away by the delegate.

The development and rollout of the company training and competency assessment materials will be based upon an accessibility model that allows students to prepare for formal assessment and accreditation at their own pace. The principle of accessibility enables the student and company to embody flexibility in the training delivery methods such that students who would otherwise not be able to participate within the company training and development schemes can be afforded access. In practice this means that student will be provided with learning materials that can be studied remotely so that they can prepare for face to face training and accreditation. The learning materials provided are:

  1. Training Manual;
  2. Videos;
  3. Self-Assessment Questionnaire.

The above will be provided for each training unit.

The training will be based around a generic structure with each training course consisting of several modules and each module consisting of several units. The foundation of the training scheme will be the training units. An example of this is given below:
